Sometimes his mom does, but usually Tony is stuck eating fruit or veggies and that is it. We haven't really spoken to them since we started Rece dairy free. But my family on the other hand makes sure almost everything is gluten free and dairy free. We even did gluten free stuffing for Thanksgiving. It takes more planning but I definitely agree that family needs to be more considerate.Toniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06117870901450313632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-24678509478846257592008-03-17T19:26:00.000-06:002008-03-17T19:26:00.000-06:00I am soooo sorry! One of my friends was shocked that Lani couldn't have goldfish...hmmm....100% cheese! It must be so frustrating for you...Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17644371692237895914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-31874131308686240592008-03-17T19:05:00.000-06:002008-03-17T19:05:00.000-06:00I don't think that people realize how serious food...I don't think that people realize how serious food allergies are.It is really scary having to watch everything you feed them and then to have family not care.Well that makes it even worse.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-85126036138923341242008-03-17T13:34:00.000-06:002008-03-17T13:34:00.000-06:00Unfortunately, I've dealt with the same thing. They prepare meals and check labels when making purchases.

My family on the other hand act as if it's no big deal. When I visit I pack a meal for all the children so I can avoid it all together.

It sucks but it's the only way I can ensure my child eats and eats safely.Jaimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12195922019970412150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-22555315280950906072008-03-17T11:03:00.000-06:002008-03-17T11:03:00.000-06:00Even more to the point, because Logan has these al...Even more to the point, because Logan has these allergies doesn't mean that EVERYONE has to change what they eat...but enough with the eye rolling and heavy sighs there, family. It's not like you're asking them to make something different--you're simply saying that you'd be happy to prepare a safe meal for your child.
if they can't get on board with that? then there's the front door...
woof. what a PIA.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08172318473717634353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-73177984308079127122008-03-17T09:10:00.000-06:002008-03-17T09:10:00.000-06:00Like smurfett said, it's almost as if they don't b...Like smurfett said, it's almost as if they don't believe he really has the allergies...like you're just trying to be difficult or something. Not only is it rude, but to be so careless with a thing such as this is not safe! They need to wise up and realize how serious the situation is and start being a little more considerate to Logan's situation.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02003721925458149286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19665812.post-82708535587447654382008-03-17T01:34:00.000-06:002008-03-17T01:34:00.000-06:00isn't that just terrible? Not only that, but they're not meeting your need to have a healthy and happy child.Smurfettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13998535585695034534noreply@blogger.com
