Carter is a few days shy of turning 6 months old (yeah, his 5th month update is coming up soon). He's also sitting up all by himself for longer periods of time and has been smacking his lips while we are eating dinner. You know what that means. Time to start solids!
Yesterday I got him some rice cereal and he had his first dinner. He loved it! Bill got some video and I got some pictures afterward...

LOL!! I *love* it!! He does exactly what Nyki does with the arms, sometimes it feels like I wanna just strap her down so we can get on with it. LOL.
I also love the highchair... is it a highchair or one of those booster seats that strap onto your normal chairs?
Towards the end I just gave up & let him try to feed himself. He would grab the spoon & shove that & both hands in his mouth. It was pretty funny.
The high chair is the Svan high chair. It's DAMN expensive, but we found a STEAL before Logan was born. It was on sale at the cost of most plastic Graco chairs. Logan used it up until the day Carter needed it since it's a transitional high chair, booster chair, etc.
WOW! Carter looks like Bill's Mini-Me.
Soooooo cute! You could eat him all up!
