Carter's First Montage
I've been working on this for a while. I don't think it's as finished as much as I would like -I have some of my maternity pictures that photographer friend took that I would like to add, but I haven't seen the proofs yet & I'm not sold on the song because it's a nine minute song fit to a three minute montage (I'm picky like that). But other than that, it's as finished as it's going to get.

It's another one of those montages that require a handy box of Kleenex (at least for me, anyway). So, without further ado...Carter's First Montage. Enjoy!

Beautiful montage. But ummm, the poem at the beginning.....is about adoption. He's your biological child so he's "flesh of your flesh" and he grew "under your heart" in your uterus.

OK, that's funny. That's what happens when you're sleep deprived & trying to chase after a 2 year old at the same time. So much for multitasking & making it work :)

I finally just had an opportunity to watch the montage- It is so amazing. For some reason though, the sound wasn't working for me...could it be that you'e changed it? Really interested to know what 9 min. song you wanted to use!

That's strange about the sound - it worked for me on the main site & on the blog. I don't know what's up with that.

The nine minute song that's on there is Beethoven's Concerto No. 5, II. Adagio un poco moto - attacca.

Finding the song that works takes the most amount of work on these for me because I like to find songs that fit the length of the actual montage. It just blends better that way. Not so much on this one (as much as I would like). I'm not a classical music expert, so it takes me even more time to find it.

I have a different song, but it was too short & I would have had to loop it twice. So, the song I used worked better than that.
