The fire is burning now!
Nesting is in full swing since the labor & delivery scare last week. Realizing that I have five weeks that Carter needs to stay in until the Doctors won't stop contractions totally lit a fire under my rear. This weekend I bought his baby calender, wooden letters to paint for his room, stars for the walls & I've begun to wash all of his clothes & blankets.
Tonight I'm buying totes to organize all of Logan's hand-me-downs & start getting the closet organized. I got the infant car seat out of the garage & I'm going to have Bill install that as soon as I clean out the car. This weekend I'll have him pull out the swing & get the crib put together. He also needs to get on top of Aunt Ju-Ju who still has our pack & play that I plan on using as a bassinet like we did for Logan.
Other than buying some newborn clothes, we haven't done anything to prepare for his arrival yet. I'm going to get a Moby Wrap & I'm sure I'll have more clothes to wash after the baby shower next month (I'm hoping for more diapers than clothes at this point). We've decided on a stars & moon theme for his room, with a touch of Good Night Moon in there, so it should be pretty cute. I'll take pictures once that gets completed.
I feel like I have so much to do. Do I sound like a frantic pregnant mom yet?

Not frantic, just productive! The stars and moon motif sounds adorable.
I can't wait to see pictures of little Carter's room!! You are so lucky being able to dress it up and do whatever you want to it!
I don't have much in the way done either, really. The baby's room is all set up with the cot and change table and everything, but I still need to buy a chest of drawers for all her clothes, and pick up a little outfit to bring the baby home in if it turns out we're having a boy (because we don't know 100% which we're having).
The most "nesting" I've had so far is to get the backyard cleaned up, plants planted and potted and resowing the grass. LOL!!
Aww..his room is gonna be super cute!!
I am sure you will be finished by the time he arrives.
5 weeks-Yikes! I bet you were like me with the first one... everything was ready to go way in advance. With #2, there is no time-when you already have a toddler. I just finished washing the infant stroller, carseat, etc. Everything that had been gathering dust in the basement. I am still working on washing baby clothes and I am going in this Friday for a C-Section!

Any frantic-ness is totally normal at this point. But still make sure to take time to kick up those feet!!! Trust me.. once Carter is here it's gets crazier. lol Enjoy it being the 3 of you as much as possible. ;)
I can't believe you only have 5 weeks left. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was reading that you're pregnant again!! You'll get everything done, don't worry :) And the stars and moon theme sounds so cute!
